I
know very little about the history of this car but I would like to trace it back
as far as possible. For now I'll just post the pertinent details until I can put
together a more narrative history.
I purchased the car in June of 2003
Prior to that it was in the rafters of a shop in what could best be described as a personal scrap yard in Proton Station, Ontario. This is just west of Highway 10 south of Flesherton. The owner had bought it at a farm auction approximately 12-15 years earlier.
Apparently at that farm the car was stored in the chicken coupe. The rear of the body which had been removed was stored outside and did not fair as well. Location of the farm is unknown at this point.
The rear of the body was cut off to facilitate the cars use as a buzz saw for cutting wood. A blade was mounted to the rear axle to do this. I'm not sure where this was done.
That's all I have for now. If you think you know something else about this car please let me know! allan.lewis@sympatico.ca.
